Spaghetti is one of my favorite meals, so I came up with this recipe to have a variation. I also had my dad in mind when I thought of this, because he loves Sloppy Joes. I knew he would just love this and he did. It is another recipe that I just thought of… I am not sure if it has been done before, but this recipe is really good.
Step: 1
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, bell pepper, Italian seasoning, and salt in the hot skillet until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes.
Step: 2
Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in pasta sauce, cover, and cook until sauce has reduced slightly, 5 to 10 minutes longer.
Step: 3
Serve Sloppy Joe mixture on hamburger buns with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
